These terms are an agreement between you and the developer of the app ("we", "us") about your use of the Voice Legacy app ("the app"). By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
1. What the app does
The app reads text aloud on your phone. You can type or paste text, open files, scan printed pages, open web pages and websites in the app's browser, download free public-domain books, and record voices of people close to you.
2. Who may use it
You must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian agree to these terms for you. Some websites you can open contain material meant only for adults. You confirm that you are allowed to view what you choose to open, under the laws that apply to you. Parents and guardians are responsible for what children open in the app.
3. Websites and content you choose
The app's browser and link reader are tools, like a web browser. We do not host, choose, review, monitor, approve or endorse any website or any content you open, read or save with them, and we have no control over it. You alone choose which websites and pages to open, and you are responsible for that choice and for following:
- the laws that apply to you, including copyright law and laws about adult or restricted material;
- the terms and policies of each website you visit.
The app reads a web page from the screen without keeping it. A page is stored only if you choose to save it, like "Save page" in a browser, and then only on your phone for your own private reading. Do not use the app to copy, share, sell or publish other people's work without their permission.
4. Free books online
Books offered through the app's online search come from Wikisource, a third-party library that describes them as free of copyright or freely licensed. For English Wikisource, the app shows a book only if, by the dates recorded on Wikisource and Wikidata, everyone who wrote or translated it died long enough ago for its copyright to have ended in your country (worked out from the phone's SIM, network or region; 70 years where unknown). These records can be incomplete or wrong, and copyright differs from country to country, so it is still your responsibility to check before you copy or share a book.
5. Loved voices
Record or copy a person's voice only with their consent, or, if they cannot give it, the permission of a person entitled to give it. Never use a voice to deceive, impersonate, defraud or harass anyone. You are responsible for the recordings you make and how you use them.
6. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or that it will work without interruption or errors. Speech, voice copies and text taken from pages, scans or books may contain mistakes.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any content of third parties, including websites, pages, books and files you open, read, save or listen to with the app, or for any loss or damage of any kind (direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential) arising from your use of the app or of such content. Where the law does not allow liability to be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app, if any.
8. Your responsibility to us
You agree to defend and compensate us against any claims, losses or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from content you open, save or share with the app, your breach of these terms, or your breach of any law or of anyone's rights.
9. Complaints about content
We do not store or publish content from websites; any copy exists only on the user's own phone. Complaints about material on a website should go to that website. Questions about the app itself: support@codetumblr.net.
10. Changes and ending
We may update these terms; the app will ask you to accept important changes. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. These terms are governed by the laws of India, unless the law where you live gives you other rights.

ये शर्तें Voice Legacy ऐप ("ऐप") के उपयोग के बारे में आपके और ऐप के डेवलपर ("हम") के बीच एक समझौता हैं। ऐप का उपयोग करके आप इनसे सहमत होते हैं। सहमत न हों, तो कृपया ऐप का उपयोग न करें।
1. ऐप क्या करता है
ऐप आपके फ़ोन पर पाठ को पढ़कर सुनाता है। आप पाठ लिख या चिपका सकते हैं, फ़ाइलें खोल सकते हैं, छपे पेज स्कैन कर सकते हैं, ऐप के ब्राउज़र में वेब पेज और वेबसाइटें खोल सकते हैं, कॉपीराइट-मुक्त किताबें डाउनलोड कर सकते हैं, और अपने क़रीबी लोगों की आवाज़ रिकॉर्ड कर सकते हैं।
2. कौन उपयोग कर सकता है
आपकी उम्र 18 साल या उससे ज़्यादा होनी चाहिए, या आपके माता-पिता या अभिभावक आपकी ओर से इन शर्तों से सहमत हों। कुछ वेबसाइटों पर केवल वयस्कों के लिए सामग्री होती है। आप पुष्टि करते हैं कि आप पर लागू क़ानूनों के अनुसार आप वह देखने के हक़दार हैं जो आप खोलते हैं। बच्चे ऐप में क्या खोलते हैं, इसकी ज़िम्मेदारी माता-पिता और अभिभावकों की है।
3. आपकी चुनी हुई वेबसाइटें और सामग्री
ऐप का ब्राउज़र और लिंक-रीडर एक वेब ब्राउज़र की तरह औज़ार हैं। हम उनके ज़रिए खोली, पढ़ी या सहेजी गई किसी वेबसाइट या सामग्री को न होस्ट करते हैं, न चुनते, न जाँचते, न निगरानी करते, न मंज़ूर करते और न समर्थन करते हैं, और उस पर हमारा कोई नियंत्रण नहीं है। कौन-सी वेबसाइटें और पेज खोलने हैं, यह केवल आप चुनते हैं, और इस चुनाव की तथा इन बातों के पालन की ज़िम्मेदारी आपकी है:
- आप पर लागू क़ानून, जिनमें कॉपीराइट क़ानून और वयस्क या प्रतिबंधित सामग्री से जुड़े क़ानून शामिल हैं;
- आप जिन वेबसाइटों पर जाते हैं, उनकी शर्तें और नीतियाँ।
ऐप वेब पेज को स्क्रीन से पढ़ता है, उसे रखता नहीं। पेज तभी सहेजा जाता है जब आप ख़ुद उसे सहेजें, जैसे ब्राउज़र में "Save page", और तब भी सिर्फ़ आपके फ़ोन पर, आपके निजी पढ़ने के लिए। दूसरों की रचनाओं को उनकी अनुमति के बिना कॉपी करने, बाँटने, बेचने या प्रकाशित करने के लिए ऐप का उपयोग न करें।
4. ऑनलाइन मुफ़्त किताबें
ऐप की ऑनलाइन खोज से मिलने वाली किताबें तीसरे पक्ष के पुस्तकालय विकिस्रोत से आती हैं, जो उन्हें कॉपीराइट-मुक्त या खुले लाइसेंस वाली बताते हैं। कॉपीराइट हर देश में अलग होता है; जो किताब एक देश में मुक्त है, वह दूसरे में नहीं भी हो सकती। अंग्रेज़ी विकिस्रोत की कोई किताब ऐप तभी दिखाता है जब, विकिस्रोत और विकिडेटा पर दर्ज तिथियों के अनुसार, उसे लिखने या अनुवाद करने वाले सभी लोगों का निधन इतने पहले हो चुका हो कि आपके देश में उसका कॉपीराइट ख़त्म हो गया हो (देश फ़ोन के SIM, नेटवर्क या क्षेत्र-सेटिंग से तय होता है; पता न चले तो 70 साल)। ये रिकॉर्ड अधूरे या ग़लत हो सकते हैं, इसलिए किताब कॉपी करने या बाँटने से पहले जाँचना फिर भी आपकी ज़िम्मेदारी है।
5. अपनों की आवाज़ें
किसी व्यक्ति की आवाज़ केवल उसकी सहमति से रिकॉर्ड या कॉपी करें, या यदि वह सहमति न दे सके, तो ऐसा अधिकार रखने वाले व्यक्ति की अनुमति से। किसी आवाज़ का उपयोग कभी भी किसी को धोखा देने, किसी का रूप धरने, ठगने या परेशान करने के लिए न करें। आपकी बनाई रिकॉर्डिंग और उनके उपयोग की ज़िम्मेदारी आपकी है।
6. कोई वारंटी नहीं
ऐप "जैसा है" और "जैसा उपलब्ध है" के आधार पर दिया जाता है, किसी भी प्रकार की स्पष्ट या निहित वारंटी के बिना, जिसमें किसी ख़ास उद्देश्य के लिए उपयुक्तता, सटीकता, या बिना रुकावट और ग़लती के चलना शामिल है। बोली, आवाज़ की कॉपी, और पेजों, स्कैन या किताबों से लिए गए पाठ में ग़लतियाँ हो सकती हैं।
7. दायित्व की सीमा
क़ानून जितनी अनुमति देता है, उस हद तक हम तीसरे पक्ष की किसी भी सामग्री के लिए ज़िम्मेदार नहीं हैं, जिसमें वे वेबसाइटें, पेज, किताबें और फ़ाइलें शामिल हैं जिन्हें आप ऐप से खोलते, पढ़ते, सहेजते या सुनते हैं; न ही ऐप या ऐसी सामग्री के उपयोग से होने वाले किसी भी प्रकार के नुक़सान (प्रत्यक्ष, अप्रत्यक्ष, आकस्मिक, विशेष या परिणामी) के लिए। जहाँ क़ानून दायित्व से छूट की अनुमति न दे, वहाँ हमारा कुल दायित्व उतना ही है जितना आपने ऐप के लिए चुकाया, यदि कुछ चुकाया हो।
8. हमारे प्रति आपकी ज़िम्मेदारी
ऐप से खोली, सहेजी या साझा की गई सामग्री, इन शर्तों के उल्लंघन, या किसी क़ानून या किसी के अधिकारों के उल्लंघन से उठने वाले किसी भी दावे, नुक़सान या ख़र्च (उचित क़ानूनी फ़ीस समेत) से हमारा बचाव करने और उसकी भरपाई करने के लिए आप सहमत हैं।
9. सामग्री के बारे में शिकायतें
हम वेबसाइटों की सामग्री न रखते हैं, न प्रकाशित करते हैं; कोई भी कॉपी सिर्फ़ उपयोगकर्ता के अपने फ़ोन पर होती है। किसी वेबसाइट की सामग्री के बारे में शिकायत उसी वेबसाइट से करें। ऐप के बारे में प्रश्न: support@codetumblr.net।
10. बदलाव और समाप्ति
हम इन शर्तों में बदलाव कर सकते हैं; महत्वपूर्ण बदलावों पर ऐप आपसे दोबारा सहमति माँगेगा। आप कभी भी ऐप हटाकर उसका उपयोग बंद कर सकते हैं। ये शर्तें भारत के क़ानूनों के अधीन हैं, जब तक कि आपके देश का क़ानून आपको दूसरे अधिकार न दे।
